Amir Ayad is a bassist and guitarist based in Casablanca, drawn to the groove and the raw energy of live music, and to the timeless sound of rock, funk and jazz.
His musical world takes its cues from the great recordings of the 60s and 70s, while staying open to what's happening now. On both bass and guitar, the focus stays the same: groove, feel, and the tension between rhythm and emotion.
